1 Disappointing check-in experience.

The rooms are modern and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.

I experienced severe disappointment with the check-in process. The reception staff seemed uninterested and I was left to sort my own breakfast tickets. Moreover, I found the free ramen offered in the evening to be excessively salty, which was quite unappetizing.

A fantastic stay, just 5 minutes from Matsumoto Station! The clean facilities had a lovely modern touch, and I appreciated the firm beds in our premium twin room. Breakfast blew me away—plenty of delicious western options. The highlight? Late-night ramen and waffle ice cream—the perfect treat after a day of exploring. However, not everything was perfect. The breakfast area could feel overcrowded with tour groups around the busy hours, leading to some waiting. Also, my room felt cramped for two, with limited space for our luggage. Despite these issues, my overall experience was enjoyable and I'd stay here again.

iroha grand hotel matsumoto eki-mae has a fantastic location, just a short walk from the train station. the room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and good amenities. i loved that they offered shaving cream and razors in the lobby. also, various recreational opportunities make your stay enjoyable.
